Ahhh. Now this is real life, aint it?
I would feel like a terrible, horrible jerk if I didn't say something about Father's Day this year. We had a nice day, went to church, learned some good things, and then came home. Later on we went out to Mike's parents' for dinner a la Jenny. It was deliciously amazing - we had a great time.
There are very few instances I have cause for complaint with Mike as a dad. (And 99% of those things are just me being drama.) He loves our kids so much and takes such good care of them. He gets down and plays with them, plays 'pretend' with Maddy, takes them out with him when he's going somewhere, etc etc etc. He takes pride in being a good dad, in letting his kids know he loves them. Oh man, do they just adore him!! Hudson has really started to just love, love, love him. They are both so excited when their daddy comes home. I love it!

Kevin and i were just talking about what a great dad Mike is. I know that is random, but we were at somebody's house for dinner on Sunday and after observing them, we got to talking on the way home about parenting styles and examples we have seen. Mike came up because we were always impressed with how hands-on he was and how much he seemed to really love that responsibility. Just saying, your kids are lucky to have you both :)
And i love that last picture. You all look great. Gray is a good color on you, and your hair looks awesome. Not to mention your perfectly bronzed skin! Great picture all around :)
