Fifteen months & change

(Okay, so he's really sixteen months. What do you want from me?)

Some new (and old) things about The Hud. He literally keeps me on my toes all day. I get him out of one mess and five minutes later, he's right back in another. I might get gray hair soon.

*Crawls up on everything. Everything. Nothing is sacred. Chairs, couches, tables - I'm waiting for him to try the counter and re-create his father's act of breaking his collarbone when he was a kid.
*Doesn't love to share. He occasionally will if I tell him, but he wants what he wants.
*Starts Nursery in 1.5 months! Woot!
*Just started speaking. A teeny tiny bit. Ball (Bah), Buck (Buh), Dog (Dah), and he's been saying Dad (Daaaaa) for quite awhile now. He'll also say Mama (Ma) on occasion. Cute stuff.
*Likes to spin in circles
*Last week I put on Lion King for him twice and he made it all the way through the previews before giving up. He's getting there.
*Can drink from a water bottle like a PRO. He loves it. At first he would just make the most gigantic messes, but about a month ago, he started getting the hang of it.
*Loves all things electronic. Anything that has a button, he'll push it.
*Speaking of 'buttons,' he started playing with his belly button about a month ago. I thought it was really cute until someone I know mentioned that their child did this when they were little and still had to do it to fall asleep at night. It kinda freaked me out so he's spent most of the last month in onesies. Ha. (I'm such a control freak, right?)
*Starting to get more picky when it comes to food. I've noticed he'll eat just about anything when it's just our family at home, but when we have people over, or we're out somewhere, he tried to act like a tough guy and not eat anything. No good.

Yeah. Didn't so much love being pushed around by his little friend. Ha!

Folding his arms for the prayer! (Ever-so-reverently, might I add.)

"Look Mama!"

Just doing a little drawing to pass the time

I caught him right when he woke up from a nap. Can you imagine being so happy to see a camera first thing?

I'm three for three with belly button kids. I think it's cute and I love it. I'd rather they play with their belly buttons than suck on a thumb, paci, or bottle for comfort.

And for the record: Man, that Hud is a little stud! Great job mama!

He gets more blonde every time I see him! He's a cute little tow-head! (And wouldn't you know...I have those same crib sheets, too...)
