The night before, my sister happened to be staying with us, so I'm glad I didn't have any kind of a chance to think about it. (The whole week before, I'd been tearing up randomly, getting really sad, just worrying, etc.) Tuesday morning was kind of a craze, of course, but we made it out the door in time.
Watching her walk into that preschool, away from me... that was really hard. After we took a couple pictures outside her classroom, she walked right in and basically didn't look back. They had little play-doh sets out for everyone and she started right in. I snapped a couple pictures and that was that, time for me and Mike to go. I was okay until we were walking out, and as soon as I put my sunglasses on, I lost it. Mike ended up taking me to Chick-fil-A for a Coke (light ice) to console me. :)
I KNOW it's a good thing, I'm not worried about her, I'm just sad for me. It's just incredible how quickly time passes, she'll never not be in school again. And if she takes after her parents? School for the next 30 years?! Haha. ;)
She is so amazing. She has such a strong will, but is so sweet too. She cares about other people so much and takes care of Hudson a lot - always making sure he has his milky and silky and a toy. I'm grateful to have her in my life, even though she is one stubbornmessofagirl.

Outside our door

Thank you Pinterest, for everything you've done for me. Including helping me look like I'm a fun and creative mother. :)

Happy 1st day, Miss Buggy!! We love you!

What a beautiful child you guys have. I'm so lucky to have a grandaughter as delightful and sweet as she. I absolutely love all those pictures of her, and also, with her great parents.
Her hair is SO LONG! I love it! I also love her Wonder Woman tank! She is too cute!
