For Maddy's birthday (which I haven't even blogged about - EEK!), Mike and I got her a bike. A ghetto one from WalMart that Mike picked out. Like, g-h-e-t-t-o. Well, Maddy loved it. But it took about five seconds of her 'riding' it in the house before we realized the chain guard was cracked and somehow was blocking the chain so the wheels couldn't move. (Nice pick there, Mikey.) ;) He also got her a helmet that *GASP* was too small! So she's been waiting and waiting for us to get our act together and exchange her bike. We finally did that on Saturday (after the haircut incident), and we found the perfect bike! Well, Maddy found it. I wanted to get her a bigger one, but she was set on this teensy tiny Barbie bike along with a bigger helmet. As soon as we got home, she went to town on that thing. After much practicing, I went inside to take a nap (luxury!) and the kids stayed out and played.

This afternoon, the weather was amazing! We all went outside to play and ended up taking a walk - me pushing The Hud in the stroller, and Maddy riding her bike! So awesome!
4 Two Cents Worth:
First off, Hudson is a MINI MIKE! Just now it popped out at me! Second, I can't believe Maddy is FOUR. Third, who wouldn't dig that bike with a bell, streamers AND a basket? I mean, c'mon! Lastly, what's a nap and how did you swing that on a Saturday??? Impressive.
Just from your pictures and meeting them once, I just love your kids. They are soooo, soooo cute. we really need to get together one day.
She is just beautiful, Dani! And I just love Hud's hair! I so badly want a child with curly hair!!!
Danielle, you have inspired me to be a better blogger and photographer. I wouldn't have any pictures documenting the fun things we do, if it wasn't for you! Love the pictures of Hud and his haircut. I am there when you need me ;)
