Fallidays

^^ I am seriously so clever.

Well, Halloween & Thanksgiving came and went in a hurry, didn't they? Dang. I'm normally NEVER this far behind at blogging but I've been in a funk lately. No motivation and all I want to do is be lazy. This is really not the right time of year for that. Blah. Also, I feel like no one blogs anymore. And if you're not blogging, you're not reading blogs. Unless you're me. I'm still reading all y'alls blogs. Am I talking to myself right now? Who knows?

I thought I better hurry and post the pictures from our Fall festivities this year so we can get down to the nitty gritty of my birthday (ahem, Jenny, whenever you decide to send me the pictures!!!) and then eventually, Christmas. :)

First up - Emily's party

Emily invited us to her Halloween party and it was awesome! That, combined with a very exciting Rangers play-off game, made the house extremely loud. The kids had a blast in the bounce house and there were a lot of yummy treats for everyone.

My adorable kids & their clashing stripes. (Not planned.) ;)

There were so many people there! It was awesome. And warm.

We stayed as long as we could, and the kids did sooooo good. But boy howdy, did the meltdowns begin when it was time to go.

Next up - Trunk or Treat

We had a chili dinner combined with another ward (so. many. people.) and then headed outside to get the candy. I opted to put The Hud in a stroller since he has such a habit of running away from me as often as he can. It worked okay. When he got tired of being in the stroller, we confined him and Dylan to the back of the Sharp's truck.

Maddy was Little Red Riding Hood (again!)**** and Hudson was The Woodcutter. Problem was, by the time that night rolled around, he was so over carrying the ax. Whatever, dude!

It was awesome to have so many friends there. We love our ward!!!

Even Marlee, who had a baby a couple days before, showed up. That girl is nutso. But the good kind of nutso!!

**** Interesting side note. I had almost convinced Maddy to be something else, but it just kept coming back to Little Red Riding Hood. Since it isn't all about me, I conceded. Next thing I know, Mike comes home with a Little Red Riding Hood costume for her. Because he thought she would have gornw out of the one from last year. MIKE!!!! She wears 18 months-size skirts, for cryin' out loud! Sheesh. Anyway. Rant over.

After that - The Eldredge Halloween party

We were excited to see what they had in store this year for the Spook Alley, since Maddy loved it so much last year. It did not disappoint!! There was also their delicious nacho bar and pumpkin carving. And they were celebrating Jack's birthday, so we even got birthday cake. :) Such a fun night!! We were so happy to be invited back.

The babies cleaning up the floor for us. Aren't they sweet?

Next - Halloween night

On Halloween, we decided to stick close to home. We never have, so we really had no idea what to expect. We never get any trick-or-treaters really, haven't since we moved in, but then again, we're always gone, so what do I know? Our good friends, the Johnsons joined us for a walk around the block. It was perfect! How did I not realize that two streets over, there's a full-on block party going on??

Abby and her parents. And Baby Jared hiding in the Moby. He was like, 6 days old. Give him a break!

Getting both kids to look at the camera is a challenge.

Check out The Hud's face when he's just about to take off running towards the party. Priceless!

After it was all said and done, we let the kids have a little candy and then sent them to sleep off their sugar coma.

Stunned from the amount of candy he was allowed to eat

Looks like fun times! I hear ya about the blogging...I do read everyone else's, mostly because I don't have time to sit and do it quite yet until Babers gets on a real schedule. But, I will...PROMISE! I still think your daughter is gorgeous and son is too cute for his own good (love the curls). You and Mike are not bad looking either! ;)

I don't like the blogging hiatus everyone is taking either. Stupid blogging being just a fad. Geez. I'm still a reader, blogger, and long time listener.
