The Dirty 30

We started off the day at the park with friends. They gave me a shirt ^^ which is HILARIOUS, on the front it says, '30 sucks,' and a cute headband, and we planned to meet for dinner and a movie later. (Side note: Loooooooooooong ago, when I found out Breaking Dawn was coming out on my birthday, I declared that's what we would be doing. Ha.) My friends came to get me and we headed to Red Robin. A bunch of my other friends were able to make it too and we had a great time. After dinner, we were supposed to head to the theater, but the crazy person I was riding with went past it and went to my house. :)

When we pulled in and all the lights were off, and there was this curious sign on the door. An exact replica of this one:



We walked inside, and everyone yelled SURPRISE!!! There had been some shady things going on at the restaurant, people leaving earlier than us, just some different things, but I never expected everyone (and their husbands, and their kids!) to be at my house. And my sisters-in-law, my sister, my in-laws, all showed up too!

Mike (with the help of my friends) had decorated the place soooo well. Complete with a life-size Jacob Black. Be still my beating heart. There were treats, brownies, cookies, red apples and bright red punch everywhere. And red licorice strips. And lots of chocolate. It was adorable!!! And it was all for me!!!

We hung out for awhile, I opened my presents (I got, amongst other things, a Wii!!!), and then we headed to the movie. It really was one of the best nights ever, and certainly the best birthday I can remember. A HUGE thanks to all my family and friends for making it such a fabulous day!
