This went off and on all day and just when I was at the end of my pitiful rope, I took him off me to set him on the couch so I could take a picture of him (to send to Mike) and BAM. Vomit everywhere. :/ He threw up a few more times but each time it got less and less.

I didn't feed him anything the rest of the day or night, poor buddy. But it was done quickly. And when no one else got sick the next couple days, I thought we were in the clear.
And then FIVE days later, Maddy threw up.

I can't remember how it all started except that she didn't want much breakfast, and then when I thought she was okay, I gave her some toast with jelly and... well, you know how this story ends. :) She was SUCH a champ though. I couldn't believe it. When I'm sick, I'm crying and gagging and oh-so-dramatic. But she just took care of business and was done. She was fine the rest of the day, and slept fine that night. Thank goodness!
Last week Maddy fell asleep while watching a movie on my bed. That's pretty darn rare these days, but she was so cute, I just had to take a picture.

I should have known...

When she woke up, she had a fever and just laid on the couch all afternoon. She cried for about an hour, and *finally* I figured out it was because she said she wanted to throw up and couldn't. Enter the hysterics I expected the first time around. Oy. I finally gave her some Tylenol and she perked right up. She never did get sick to her stomach, so I have no idea what that was all about.
Kids.

Oh those little darlings!! Seeing them all sweet and vulnerable tugs at my heart. Little angels.
OHH yuck! You know you're feeling sicky when you fall asleep on the couch with your shoes on, and one hand on the dog. Poor baby! Stomach flu is by far the worst! I maintain that this has been the WORST winter for sickness! We're still going round and round! I feel ya!
We've been sick too, not vomiting (thank goodness), but coughs and runny noses...yuckiness! :(
