Two whole years!

My incredibly handsome boy. He charms the pants off almost everyone he meets and makes me smile so much. If I could have twenty more like him, I would. Of course I would also be completely gray by my 35th birthday, but...

I just love this kid to pieces. I don't know where I'd be without him.

It's been so long since the Super Bowl, I can't even remember who played...

Oh wait, yes I can. But still!

We had everyone over for a Super Bowl watching party. Really a chatting party for me and my friends, and a trying-to-watch-sports-with-a-million-kids-in-the-house party for Mike & his friends.

There was some underage drinking:

My sickies

A couple days after the Super Bowl, Hud was acting really cranky. Like, extremely. He's *somewhat* of a laid back kid, so I couldn't figure out what was wrong. When I would ask him, he would say 'back!' and point to his back. I wondered if he'd hurt it somehow {or he had gallbladder issues, but that's just my PTSD manifesting itself...) but its not like he was real in depth with his explanation.

This went off and on all day and just when I was at the end of my pitiful rope, I took him off me to set him on the couch so I could take a picture of him (to send to Mike) and BAM. Vomit everywhere. :/ He threw up a few more times but each time it got less and less.

I didn't feed him anything the rest of the day or night, poor buddy. But it was done quickly. And when no one else got sick the next couple days, I thought we were in the clear.

And then FIVE days later, Maddy threw up.

I can't remember how it all started except that she didn't want much breakfast, and then when I thought she was okay, I gave her some toast with jelly and... well, you know how this story ends. :) She was SUCH a champ though. I couldn't believe it. When I'm sick, I'm crying and gagging and oh-so-dramatic. But she just took care of business and was done. She was fine the rest of the day, and slept fine that night. Thank goodness!

Last week Maddy fell asleep while watching a movie on my bed. That's pretty darn rare these days, but she was so cute, I just had to take a picture.

I should have known...

When she woke up, she had a fever and just laid on the couch all afternoon. She cried for about an hour, and *finally* I figured out it was because she said she wanted to throw up and couldn't. Enter the hysterics I expected the first time around. Oy. I finally gave her some Tylenol and she perked right up. She never did get sick to her stomach, so I have no idea what that was all about.

Kids.
